A Great Weekend

Finally, I have some good news to share. No stories of being stressed, sick, or mad. No sireee Bob. I had a great weekend, one that was fun and relaxing. I'm even looking forward to this week.

Some of the pictures you see here are of my friends fishing (Sterling and his girlfriend Alyse). I even through a few casts and caught a couple myself. They caught many, many fish... above you see Alyse throwing her first cast. This was up at Kinney Lake (about six miles east of Joseph). It was a great afternoon.

Later in the weekend I spent time watching movies, playing pool, and hanging out with my friends, who were at my house the majority of the weekend.

On Monday (Memorial Day), I spent time at Keithanne's house where she had a get together with Cynthia and I. It was fun to just hang out in her back yard with some good food!

I was harassed while shopping in the grocery store because of the long weekend I took off. Notably, they were from owners of businesses that rely on tourism business. Fortunately, I rely on locals' business, and I replied "because I can" when they asked "why can you take this weekend off?" A pretty obvious answer. Nonetheless, I still monitor my email amongst other things to make sure everything is going smoothly during my closure.

This week holds many things for me. I'll be in the office Tuesday, out on Wednesday, back again Thursday, and off to Relay For Life on Friday. That should be an interesting couple of days. I will have a pretty full report for you next weekend on that. Though, I could be very, very tired from it, I hope that I am not.

The picture above I took with my new Motorola Krazr phone. I am pretty excited about it, and discovered the camera on it isn't bad either.

Hope y'all have a good week.

Memorial Day Weekend

Hey all, I am back once again. I know my posts have been fewer and farther between lately. I've been busy with my hectic life I suppose. Nonetheless, I am keeping to my resolution this year to post as often as I can.

This week went well. In fact, compared the past few weeks it went stellar. Computer sales are on the rise again, which is very good news. It was a very good mood throughout the week at LB Productions.

Our new employee, Elizabeth DeBoie started this week. I was very excited, as was she -- I think she will be a great addition to the staff!

I am looking forward to a fun and relaxing Memorial Day Weekend. After all, haven't we earned a three-day weekend? I know I'll enjoy it seeing all of my friends and kicking back and enjoying life for a change. For once I am working to live instead of living to work.

I don't have much else for exciting news, but I will be posting again soon to keep you updated of this weekend's events.

Please have a fun and safe weekend!

I'm Better!

The last several days have been a nightmare for me. Over stressed, sick, tired, and feelings of hopelessness. This all started about a week ago when my lungs started filling with fluid. Little did I know that this was going to end up being the worst week of my life (excluding my time with cancer). My body took a beating, and I was left with almost no will to live. It finally caught up with me yesterday when I suffered a horrific migraine. My entire body was stress-ridden and stricken because of my ailment, work, and life in general. Last night I prayed for this awfulness to end.

This morning, my prayer was answered.

I woke up feeling the world was at my fingertips. My phenomina-like symptoms were all but gone, and my spirits lifted to the highest level in weeks. Things at work started off better, and it was generally a smooth day.

I am glad to be back in game, and I never want to feel that way again.

Sudden Illness

Hey folks, I am still alive. I haven't been very outgoing the past few days as an onset of a flu-like bug left me stricken, and now has developed into phenomena-like symptoms, making it hard for me to breathe. I went the doctor yesterday because the situation got so serious.

Now, I am on Prednisone and Azithromycin, as well as a prescribed inhaler. I made the mistake of going into work on Thursday following an afternoon off on Wednesday. I wasn't ready, and I felt it. By Thursday afternoon I was wheezing loudly and so severe that breathing became very difficult. Finally, I lied down, took the inhaler and rested. I was able to finally breathe once again and write on my blog :-)

I am debating on going in to the office tomorrow, I will see how I feel. We had planned on painting and rearranging the office, but that maybe postponed.

Another awful feeling of this illness, is the tightness in my chest. I was worried I might be suffering some sort of heart-attack, but my doc said it can be a common symptom with all of this congestion. Nevertheless, we are keeping a close eye on things.

Well, that is all I have for now! I'm going to go relax some more and pray for my speedy bounce-back!

Back On The Radar

It's been a little while, but I am finally back to my normal routine. The craziness started a couple weeks ago with he stint at the extension office. That threw off my schedule quite a bit. But I'm happy to say with that behind me, I'm ready to be back on track.

Last week was just crazy. Everyday I worked half a day at my office, then the other half at extension. It was good, but not attending to my office hurt. It was definitely felt Friday when we had an interesting day with customers. My staff handled it beautifully, but I still wish I would have been there. I was torked, real torked by the end of the day on Friday. It is stressful trying to deal with things from another town.

Saturday I headed out to La Grande to participate in a Relay For Life event, but it ended much sooner than I thought. I also did a service call in Union, which was easy and done with in minutes. So I hung out with Keithanne and Cynthia at Wal-Mart for a bit, and then headed off to do some other errands. I also got to see Alyse. We had a good time hanging out for a little bit. I headed home Saturday evening, then got up Sunday morning to head to Lewiston to go to Costco and get some more stuff. I finally arrived home this evening exhausted, and ready for the week ahead... a normal week (we can hope).
